Hard water causes limescale buildup and thus damage to many household appliances, heating systems, and your home’s entire plumbing system. The filter cartridges are designed so that the water flows through. The entire granulate thus ensures maximum filtration.   

Important Notice:

Do not pressurize the cartridge directly, but first immerse it in water for approx. 8 hours. This causes the granules to swell and fill the entire cartridge housing. After that, the cartridge is then inserted into the housing. A second housing with a carbon block filter SPFP-Superpure or CBF3-Comfort should always be mounted behind the lime cartridge.
