Since 2004, we have been the alternative to oversized and expensive water filters with complex installations. Our factory is located in a recreational area near the Großensee lake in the north of Hamburg.

Sanquell GmbH is founded by Hans-Jürgen Winderlich. Sanquell aims to become an affordable, high-quality alternative for water filters.

2009/01/15 | The company has grown significantly since then.
Relocation of the company headquarters to Hoisdorf

2018/08/01 | relocation to Siek
Due to the higher turnover volume, larger loading and unloading facilities are required for trucks. The company is moving to its current location in Siek.

2019/04/01 | New management
Following the successful establishment of sanquell, a change in management is imminent. Arno Bublitz and Oliver Knoblauch are taking over Sanquell and leading the company into a new era of digitalisation.

2020/03/01 | Coronavirus epidemic
Sanquell is in the midst of a major renovation when the coronavirus pandemic demands everyone's attention. The restrictions imposed by the pandemic highlight the positive impact of the changes within the company. The management decides to continue expanding process optimisation.
